Carl A. McArthur (Left) and Doug McArthur Sr. (Right) the inspirations for Team Mc
Team Mc Fishing Background
The Team Mc logo was created based on the engraving of the "Mc" that has been used for at least 4 generations of family. The "Mc" was engraved on tools and written on personal items belonging to our Father and Grandfather. We continued the tradition and started to mark our personal belongings with the same style of lettering many years ago also. Just around the turn of this new century, we contacted a friend who made vinyl letters and number for race cars in our area. He was a well known Veteran and flag man for Stockton 99 Speedway. We gave him our idea to have a few decals made for our smaller boat to show off the family logo at trout fishing derbies and just out on the water fishing. The "Team Mc" design is what he came up with, and we accepted it as our family fishing logo. Two decades later, and we are still using the logo that was created by the late Ron Roach, a Vietnam Veteran.
We have since added the larger boat that you see below and have registered her as a Commercial Passenger Fishing Vessel. Captain Doug is currently licensed by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife as a Guide and Commercial Fisherman, and the U.S.C.G. as an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels. Our whole mission with the Team Mc crew, is not claiming to be better than anyone else when it comes to fishing, just to share our passion with others.
Thanks for checking out our web site, we hope you will join us in sharing the great outdoors and helping to protect it for future generations. <*)\\\\>((

This 2008 Alumaweld Formula Vee was added to our business in August of 2020. She was given the name "Com'n Up" as a way to express the addition of a larger boat as well as the phrase meaning we are bringing up the throttle. She is a 24 foot model with twin Mercury Verado 200hp main engines, a Mercury 15hp kicker motor with autopilot. Upfront we have a windlass anchor system to safely deploy and pull anchor as needed. We have added a Minn Kota 112 pound, 36 volt Ulterra featuring auto deploy and stow as well. We have installed 2 Cannon Mag 10 STX Downriggers and use 4 Fins Downrigger weights exclusively. We also have the Ace Line Hauler for pulling crab traps that fits the Cannon Downrigger mounts. Currently running 2 Lowrance HDS units that came with the boat.
The boat is registered as a Commercial Passenger Fishing Vessel for taking guests out sportfishing as well as Commercially registered should we choose to fish on our own to sell legally caught species we can offer for sale.
